Lights, bikes, beer - Bolt’s re-opening and the celebration of the motorcycle.
Originally founded in 2013, Bolt Motorcycles re-opened at its new premises at 1A Bouverie Road to a warm welcome from London’s motorcycle community. As the evening progressed, the warm glow of the halogen bulbs was matched only by the warmth of parked engines and riders' spirits.
Standing in the cobbled courtyard on the warm summers evening, chatting as we watched each new bike arrive, engines spluttering and popping around us, trading stories, laughs and examining modifications on our respective motorcycles.
Feet on pavement, beer in hand, surrounded by bikes both new and old, Bolt’s re-opening was a pure celebration of the motorcycle. As the large courtyard filled, bikes spilled out onto the neighbouring roads which, as the night progressed, came alive with the gastric rumble of the v-twin, the juvenile whine of the multi cylinder in-line fours, and the unmistakably refined heartbeat of the English twin.
